What does '20% under RRP' mean when I buy Warhammer here?

Short answer

RRP is the recommended retail price. On most Games Workshop lines in our shop our price is 20% or more under it, and the median saving was 21% when we checked on 29 October 2026. Some lines save less, including some books and a few newer boxes. The table below shows the saving line by line.

Savings across the range

ProductRRPOur priceYou save
Base Leadbelcher paint£2.85£2.2521%
Assault Intercessors£41.50£32.7921%
Combat Patrol: T'au Empire£109.00£86.1121%
11th Edition Starter Set£160.00£126.4021%
Leviathan (paperback)£9.99£7.8921%
Horus Rising (paperback)£22.00£20.855%
Combat Patrol Companion£20.50£17.0017%

Most rows sit near a fifth under RRP. The last two do not: Horus Rising and the Combat Patrol Companion saved less when we checked.

A fifth off a paint and a fifth off a Starter Set

The percentage is similar from a single paint to a Starter Set, but the pounds are not. A fifth off the Starter Set (RRP £160.00) saves far more than a fifth off a paint pot. Do not add boxes to chase a percentage.

How to compare a Warhammer price fairly

  • Same product, same edition. Our Warhammer 40,000 Introductory Set is a 10th Edition box, while the Starter Set and the Getting Started boxes are 11th Edition, and a cheaper price on the wrong edition is not a deal.
  • Same contents. A paint set with models and a paint set without them are different products, so read the contents line on the listing.
  • The RRP on the listing. Measure against the RRP shown there, and ignore any "was" price.
  • Stock. Check stock before you plan around a price. Each product page shows it.

Delivery and the rest of the bill

Delivery is free on UK orders of £20 or more. A single paint or brush costs less than that, so add something to reach it. Smaller orders pay the rates in the shipping policy.

For help picking boxes rather than prices, see our prices and delivery guide and the first-budget page.

Common questions

Where can I find Warhammer deals in the UK?

Look for the saving against RRP rather than a sale tag. Most Games Workshop lines here are 20% or more under RRP, and the 11th Edition Starter Set is £126.40 against an RRP of £160.00.

Is the saving the same on every Warhammer product?

Most lines sit about a fifth under RRP, but some books and a few newer boxes save less.

Do Warhammer models ever go on sale?

We cannot promise future prices. Our listings already sit under RRP, so compare the live saving rather than waiting for a sale.
